Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Fundraising Director to join our team. In this role, you will lead the fundraising efforts for our organization by developing targeted fundraising strategies, creating effective solicitation procedures, and overseeing fundraising activities. You will ensure the achievement of our fundraising goals and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create positive and impactful fundraising programs.

responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to drive donations and revenue for our organization

Create effective solicitation procedures and processes to ensure success of all fundraising activities

Develop communication materials to inform potential donors about our cause

Research, identify, and contact potential donors

Monitor and report on fundraising progress and goals

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including boards, staff, and vendors in order to execute successful fundraising initiatives

Develop and maintain positive public relations with potential donors, including providing detailed information on our cause

Ensure donor information is managed efficiently and accurately

In collaboration with finance staff, manage gift reconciliation and tracking

requirements

Bachelors degree in a related field

Proven track record in fundraising

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Ability to develop relationships with potential donors and stakeholders

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Must be detail-oriented and highly self-motivated

Knowledge of fundraising software and databases

Knowledge of legal and accounting regulations related to fundraising

Experience in budget development and analysis a plus
