We pride ourselves on the professionalism we provide our patients, making our locations ideal for volunteers wanting a professional experience in community midwifery.
Your time with New Life will build your skills in IV Therapy, phlebotomy, suturing, birth, prenatal care, postpartum care, natural family planning methods, medications and their proper uses, understanding lab work, and high-risk maternity care.
You must be an already qualified Midwife or advanced midwifery student to volunteer for this position.
Duration: 3-6 MONTHS - Please note time requirements.
Cost: Airfare & personal food.
What's included: Housing plus airport pick up and drop off.
Families are permitted to accompany. However, family members are not permitted to join in any midwifery activities, and children must have their own dedicated care provider with them at all times.
During your time with us you will learn the in's and outs of community midwifery, work besides our seasoned professionals and embrace the beautiful, yet challenging world of missions & community midwifery.
All volunteers are required to bring one 50 pound suit case of donated supplies. Please request a list of most needed supplies.
