Opportunities For Alegria Students
New Life is pleased to offer Medical Internships to our midwifery and ultrasound students.
We pride ourselves on the professionalism we provide our patients, making our locations ideal for interns wanting a professional internship experience.
Your time with New Life will build your skills in IV Therapy, phlebotomy, suturing, birth, prenatal care, postpartum care, natural family planning methods, medications and their proper uses, understanding lab work, and high-risk maternity care.
Length of internship: 14 days - 90 days.
Cost: $10 USD per day.
Families are permitted to accompany Alegria Students to Mexico. However, this option is only available to students interning with us for 30 days or more. Family members are not permitted to join in any internship activities, and children must have their own dedicated care provider with them at all times.
There will be costs involved for private family housing beyond the $ 10 USD daily internship cost. Please contact us for details.
Daily intern costs include shared housing, intern meals at the center, and airport pickup/drop-off. We ask that you bring one large suitcase full of supplies; please request the current list of items needed.
