Skin to Skin & Breastfeeding
We believe in the power of skin-to-skin contact and its incredible benefits, and encourage all family members to partake in this special moment during the immediate postpartum period, also known as the golden hour. We are passionate about supporting and educating mothers on the amazing benefits of breastfeeding, and strive to make sure that every mother has a beautiful and successful breastfeeding experience. We are here to support you every step of the way and provide you with the resources and tools you need to ensure that your breastfeeding journey is a positive one.
Delayed Cord Clamping
Our staff are trained in the practice of delayed cord clamping, which is the practice of leaving the umbilical cord intact until it has finished pulsating. This practice is important because it ensures that the newborn baby receives all of the blood from the placenta, as it contains essential nutrients and oxygen that the baby needs in order to be healthy and strong. Delayed cord clamping can help to prevent anemia in newborns, and can also reduce the risk of infection. We understand the importance of this practice, and that is why our staff is trained and ready to perform delayed cord clamping for all of our patients and their newborn babies.
Water Birth
Water birth is a natural and safe way for mothers to give birth in environments where clean water is available. This method of birth offers mothers natural pain relief, and allows them to relax during labor, reducing stress for both mother and baby. We are committed to providing all women with the opportunity to experience a water birth, and the many benefits it can offer. With its gentler environment and sense of security, water birth can be a more comfortable, calming, and empowering experience for both mother and baby. It also has been known to reduce labor time, decrease the need for medical interventions, and provide a more pleasant postpartum experience.
Respect the Philological Birth Process
Our staff is trained to understand and respect the philological birth process, and take the necessary precautions to ensure a safe and successful outcome. They are knowledgeable in recognizing signs of distress and complications, and are capable of quickly responding to any potential risks that may arise during the birth process. We are highly skilled in the art of handling any and all emergencies, and takes pride in making sure that the entire process is conducted with the utmost care and attention. We strive to provide our patients with the best possible care and comfort during this special time in their lives.
Education
We are deeply invested in educating our mothers and their families about the natural birth process. To do this, we use a variety of methods, including videos, models, and charts, to help explain the process in a way that is easily understandable. We also strive to provide resources and advice to empower and equip mothers so they can make informed decisions throughout their pregnancy and birth. Our ultimate goal is to create an environment where mothers and families feel supported and informed, and where they can make the best decisions for their health and well-being. We believe that education is the key to creating meaningful change and empowerment.
